Your people are smart. That’s great, but do they…

Communicate Clearly?

Not just exchange words, but openly share ideas, actively listen, and ensure understanding. True communication builds trust, reduces friction, and accelerates results.

Collaborate Effectively?

Go beyond working side-by-side. Effective collaboration means aligning efforts, improving handoffs, and co-creating solutions that are stronger than what any individual could achieve alone.

Build Relationships?

More than networking—it’s about fostering genuine connections, showing respect, and building the trust that sustains teamwork and long-term partnerships.

Lead Strategically

Effective leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about inspiring others, setting direction, making sound decisions, and empowering teams to reach their full potential.

TESTIMONIALS

I enjoyed the variety of activities, course content, pre-work assignments and facilitation. The book on EQ will be very helpful to reinforce these skills. Jordan kept the class moving and interesting and is very knowledgeable.

#1

I think taking time away from our day-to-day jobs to reflect and focus on ourself is a great way to learn and practice our leadership skills. And the way you structured the course and the activities in it were very powerful – I can tell you’ve been working on this series for a long time!

#2

I liked the reinforcement of prior company training topics. I hope the company continues to invest in courses like this to grow our new leaders and for seasoned leaders to get refreshed.

#3

It’s a rare occurrence for me to attend a training and not be aware or concerned about the lapse of time (i.e., How much time until the next break? How much longer until it’s lunch? What’s the next topic? When will the class be done?). To be engaged for a full day, with meaningful course content, skillfully delivered, is the distinguishing mark of a Master Facilitator. Thank you, Jordan, for leading us through a leadership journey of self-discovery and learning that was engaging and meaningful from start to finish.

#4

An unanticipated takeaway from the series was the connections I made with other class participants and learning their roles within the company. The interactive course activities and exercises created positive energy and rapport amongst us. Your facilitation cultivated what I felt was a supportive, trusting team dynamic.

#5

The Alaka’i Leadership Series offered me a level of leadership development beyond the basics of leader skills. The course delved into characteristics and traits of effective leadership and would benefit all leaders at my company but especially managers and directors who are directly responsible to influence, develop, and inspire the next generation of leaders. Offering this training from a contracted source shows the company is willing to invest in their leaders by providing learning & development from broad and diverse external sources.

#6

Each of the 4 days contained valuable, useful and thought-provoking content. We were also exposed to other company leaders and their goals and challenges. I thought the series was enjoyable, worthwhile, and a good investment of time.
